Water ......being dehydrated slows down all your body functions.

Water


Water is absolutely essential to your body survival.

We can go a month without food but only a week without water.   Water helps to maitain a healthy weight by increasing metabolism and regulate apeptite.  Water leads to increased energy levels.   Daytime fatigue is most caused by mild dehydration.  Drinking 6 -8 glasses of water a day can help prevent colon cancer, bladder cancer and breast cancer.  This is my favorite, for a majority of sufferers water can reduce joint pain even back pain.  By consuming 6-8 glasses of water a day, you are flushing out toxins and bacterias that can cause disease.  Water also naturally moisterizes your skin from underneath to give you a healthy natural glow. 
If you are constipated you are not getting enough water in your daily diet.  By drinking more water this will help you not become constipated.  Water is by far the most needed resource to our body to keep us feeling and looking our best. 

If you have a plant and don't water it for a few days what happens???  If you give it small amounts of water what happens???  But if you give your plant lots of water as needed, doesn't your plant look the healthiest and strongest?  It is the same with human's.  We need water to survive but not many of us get enough water, we think we do but in actuality we really don't. 

Now, big question should I only drink bottled water?  Well this is up to you, but to be honest if you read and listen to the news most of the bottled water is the same as your tap.  The best thing is to make sure your water is purified.  Get a water purifier and drink your water right from your tap.  This is less expensive in the long run.  Fill up your own bottles and take them with you.  Plus its also better for the enviroment ( no more plastic bottles).  Anyhow its up to you whatever makes you feel more comfortable, just make sure you get at least 6-8 cups of water a day.

Tip: Being dehydrated slows all your body functions, including your metabolism.   So keep it steady with at least 6-8 glasses of water a day, more then that may even increase your metabolic rate but you need to be very careful not to drink too much water it can cause (Hyponatremia is a condition in which your blood level of sodium is abnormally low. Sodium, an electrolyte, helps regulate water levels in the fluid in and around your cells. In hyponatremia, one or more factors — ranging from an underlying medical condition to excessive water intake during endurance sports — cause sodium levels to drop. When this happens, your body's water levels rise, and your cells begin to swell. This swelling can cause many health problems, from mild to severe. )

.  Drinking cold water may even further up your ability to burn more calories, as your body needs extra energy to heat it.
